Today on the ride home from Utah I had a blanket tucked into the window to keep the light out of Asher’s eyes. Well, both kids took a short nap, and after they woke up, I figured it would be more fun for Asher to look out of the window. So I rolled it down and the blanket came loose. Well, APPARENTLY, Lily was in love with the way that the blanket was, and started to cry that the window was broken, and I broke it, and it was terrible. I felt bad that she was so sad, but it really was kind of silly. 🙂 Poor thing.
Another time on the way home, Lily was getting sad, and the more sad she was the harder Asher would laugh, which would make her yell at him harder, and make him laugh more, and it really was a vicious cycle. I laughed. I love my kiddos.
We went to Gringo’s for dinner tonight, and those kids were soooo silly! Asher wants to do everything that Lily does, and Lily wants the same attention that Asher gets. It’s hilarious! At one point I was patting both of their mouths… like little indians… Also there was another point that Lily was shaking her head No, talking about how her hair was moving, but Asher just had to sit there and shake his head No also. It was really cute.
I took Lily to go use the bathroom while we were eating out, and Asher had a meltdown that I had left without him. He promptly calmed down once I came back. The people eating at the table behind us thought it was super funny and cute. 🙂
