New Kitchen!!

Holy Smokes. I never thought that this would be me, but I am getting a new kitchen! I am so excited! The last couple of days we have been getting new flooring. We got home from Christmas on the 28, and started to take everything out, and get ready for the floor people. Cabinets should be coming in on the 9th, and a beautiful granite counter top will be coming shortly after that. YAY!!!

It’s been a bit stressful trying to make sure everything lines up and works for the good of the colony… hehe. But I think it’s going to be worth it! I’m so excited about everything! it’s so beautiful already, and I don’t have to worry about weird black stuff around the base of the cabinets, or seams peeling, or anything like that. It will have a lot of open room, and beautiful contrast with the black and white. sigh. I’m so excited! I just hope that it turns out as good as I am dreaming of! 🙂
